Project Overview
I was tasked with creating the brand identity for Native Voice, working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to align the design with the company’s vision. I introduced two moodboards during the initial design phase, with the final direction leaning towards a sleek, tech-forward aesthetic, featuring blues and gradient styles. The project also involved creating a style guide, branding deck, and an end-to-end experience demo of the app, showcasing the user experience. Additionally, I developed the design system to ensure consistency and scalability across future projects.
Problem Statement
Native Voice needed a distinct and scalable brand identity that reflected their innovative positioning in the AI voice assistant space. The brand needed to be visually cohesive across platforms and align with their high-tech, forward-thinking mission. I also needed to create a compelling demo of the end-to-end user experience to showcase the app’s functionality and user interface.

Research Phase
Collaboration and Moodboards
I began the process by collaborating with the Chief Marketing Officer to gather insights and align on the brand’s visual direction. I introduced two distinct moodboards:
Concept 1: Focused on a warm, approachable aesthetic with softer colors and rounded elements.
Concept 2: A sleek, tech-forward aesthetic, featuring cool blues, gradients, and modern visual elements.
After discussions and alignment, we decided to move forward with the second concept, reflecting Native Voice’s technological innovation and future-oriented approach.
Moodboard Highlights:
Tech-forward aesthetic with sleek, gradient blues.
Modern design elements emphasizing innovation and trust.
Clean, minimalistic visual style that aligns with the brand's identity in the AI space.
Design Approach
Branding and Identity
The final brand identity for Native Voice focused on sleek, tech-driven visuals with blues and gradients to create a sense of trust and forward-thinking innovation. I created a comprehensive style guide to ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints, from the website to the app and marketing materials.
Key Design Elements:
Sleek blues and gradients representing technological advancement and reliability.
Minimalistic yet bold typography to enhance readability and modernity.
A clean, streamlined logo that encapsulates the brand’s tech-driven mission.
Style Guide and Branding Deck
I created a detailed style guide and branding deck to standardize the brand identity. These materials outlined the usage of the logo, color palette, typography, and visual elements, providing guidelines for internal and external stakeholders to maintain brand consistency.
Style Guide Components:
Logo usage guidelines, including spacing, sizing, and placement.
Detailed color palette with primary, secondary, and gradient colors.
Typography hierarchy and best practices for font usage across platforms.
Iconography and visual elements that align with the tech-driven aesthetic.
End-to-End Experience Demo
To showcase Native Voice’s app and its user experience, I created an end-to-end experience demo. This demo outlined the entire user journey, from app onboarding to the use of voice commands, highlighting key interactions and features. It provided stakeholders with a clear vision of how the user would engage with the app, reinforcing the brand’s sleek and intuitive design.
Demo Highlights:
Visual storytelling of the user journey, from onboarding to interaction with the AI assistant.
Key UI/UX elements that showcase seamless navigation and fluid transitions.
Voice command demonstrations integrated into the user experience for a full app walkthrough.
Design System Implementation
To ensure the brand’s scalability and consistency, I developed a comprehensive design system for Native Voice. This system included reusable components, patterns, and detailed documentation to streamline future development efforts and maintain visual coherence across platforms.
Key Elements of the Design System:
Reusable UI components, including buttons, icons, and cards.
Guidelines for spacing, layout, and grid systems to ensure visual consistency.
Flexibility for future updates and feature integrations, making the system adaptable for new design needs.
Collaboration and Iteration
Throughout the project, I worked closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, iterating on the brand identity and refining the visual elements based on feedback. This collaborative process allowed us to align on key design decisions and ensure that the final brand identity was both visually compelling and strategically aligned with Native Voice’s goals.
Collaboration Highlights:
Iterative feedback loops with the Chief Marketing Officer for continuous refinement.
Regular check-ins to ensure brand alignment with the business strategy.
Adjustments to the design based on stakeholder input, ensuring the final outcome met both visual and functional objectives.
Conclusion
By developing a sleek, tech-forward brand identity for Native Voice, including the creation of a style guide, branding deck, and end-to-end app demo, I successfully aligned the brand’s visuals with its technological mission. The comprehensive design system ensures consistency and scalability across platforms, providing a foundation for future growth. The collaborative process resulted in a visually compelling identity that resonates with Native Voice’s forward-thinking, innovative values.
